Monster Art Assignment
Due on Thursday, October 25: Create a monster on 11x17 paper using oil pastels. Students will be marked on their ability to create a monster that matches the description created as a class and listed below.
As a class we described a monster that has multiple parts. Each group wrote a description using adjectives and figurative language for their part of the monster. Here is our description:
The Body: A monster with buff, furry torso, with big turquoise diamonds with spiky big shoulders.
The Head: Five big, orange, fat antennae making its three bubbly, blue-like horns craving for the awesome sideburns that have a spiky touch to share their beauty that's seemed to have been a year's worth of magnificent growing. Like the orange antenna, it is as fat as an elephant with spongy like horns with holes in them.
The Face: I have eight awesome eyes. Also a big bushy moustache. Plus a unibrow. Also a mouth with a tongue sticking out. My nose looks like a big terrifying triangle. It can completely kill you.
The Legs: One of my legs is shorter than the other because a shark bit my leg off. There is a bone protruding from my leg. There are rips in my jeans and from the rips you can see my hair which is as black as coal. And my foot is smeared with blood.
The Arms: There are four slimey, large octopus arms with giant claws to fight off its enemies.
